LabSQL

LabSQL is a collection of VIs that use the ADO object collection in LabVIEW so that you can connect to almost any database, perform SQL queries, manipulate records, etc. Essentially it is a collection of VIs that act as wrappers for ADO properties and methods.

Authors: Chris Roth, with mods and documentation by Jeffrey Travis. LabSQL was contributed by Premise Development Corporation. and their contribution is gratefully acknowledged.

System requirements :

  • LabVIEW 6.0 or higher, running on Windows. In the future, we hope to add JDBC modules so that LabSQL can run on other platforms
  • The database you are connecting to should have an ODBC driver (almost all databases do: Access, SQL Server, Oracle, Pervasive, etc.)
  • MDAC 2.6 installed. You may already have MDAC installed, but if you don't, download it from Microsoft here.

Current version: LabSQL 1.1a (now compatible again with LabVIEW 6.0)
